When Angelique, a gifted chocolate maker inhibited by social anxiety, takes a job in Jean-Rene’s struggling chocolate factory a fragile love affair unfolds.
Funny, tender and painfully awkward, Romantics Anonymous is a delicious love story about breaking the mould and finding the courage to be happy.
This beautiful new musical was first presented at Shakespeare’s Globe in 2017 and we’re over the moon to be bringing it to Bristol Old Vic in January, before it embarks on a US tour.
This production is made possible by the generous support of Paul and Joanna Pearson.
