We are looking for experienced ushers to join our Front of House team for our summer show, Malory Towers at Bristol Passenger Shed.
This is a new adaptation of the Enid Blyton books, adapted and directed by Emma Rice. We’re building our very own Malory Towers inside the Passenger Shed at Bristol Temple Meads and are looking for friendly ushers to join the Front of House team. Reporting to the Duty Manager, responsibilities will include helping to seat audience, selling programmes, being proactive and positive in response to audience needs, administering first aid if necessary, providing critical support in the event of an evacuation, and ensuring the audience have the best possibletime at Malory Towers! You'll be part of an excellent team and get an inside view of life at Wise Children.
Matinee and evening shifts are available from 19 July to 18 August. All shifts are paid. Shift durations are varied, but the majority of shifts start at 6.30pm and finish at 10.30pm. Matinee shifts begin at 1.30pm and finish at 5.30pm.
Shifts are offered on a casual basis, meaning you are free to choose how frequently you work. Our full schedule of shows is here.
Front of House experience in a theatre would be preferred but not essential as training will be given.
